The Week that was put off til next week (BUT I HAVE SKETCHES to share!)

So, I am currently rehearsing for a New York Fringe Festival play that I am performing in. ::cough:: Buy Tickets ::cough:: This week is tech week... meaning long nights and having all of my lines memorized (hah! good luck with that...)
I was painting today's VERSUS painting this morning, and realized I was rushing to fill this painting-a-day quota thang... and that's not the point. SOOOOOO I am going to postpone the rest of VERSUS week until next week.
***BUT DON'T TURN OFF THAT RSS FEED QUITE YET!
I will still be posting new stuff each day. New to you, that is.
In keeping with an ironic-idea-theme®, For the "Week-That-Isn't"... I present "The-Paintings-That-Didn't".
Everyday this week I will post some sketches of daily painting ideas that didn't make it onto canvas.
Please enjoy today: Everyday Ninja part one
Me trying to get the character of the ninja right... before I send him off on adventures. I initially tried to make him more copyrightable (kyle sad) by adding a chest emblem... but he's a freaking ninja, not a carebear!
Ninja is hiding himself against a brick wall. He's still a carebear... but apparently the chest-emblem changes... into a brick to help him hide there.
Ninja walking his dog, Fluffy Jr.
Ninja being a spokesperson for the bestest Cola around... Ninja-Drink. Be like a Ninja, drink Ninja-Drink.
Ninja VERSUS ninja at chess (and here you thought you wouldn't see any VERSUS art today. Wrong!) there's also Ninja playing chess against old guy at the park.
